Simply attach your garden hose to the irrigator, turn the water on gently, and get started. The irrigation tool drills its own holes with the help of your water and should be pushed into the soil slowly 6 to 18 inches deep to deliver water to your tree's drip line. Repeat every 12 to 24 inches as necessary. You can also use this Yard Butler Irrigator tool to feed fertilizer to the roots of your trees and shrubs for all-around healthier plants.
