X10 Pro Powerflash Interface Module - PSC01 / PF284
This
versatile
device plugs into a 120VAC outlet  and connects to a 6-18VAC/DC or audio input or a dry contact such as the external connectors on an existing, wired-in security system and transmits 1 of 3 signal modes when tripped.
Mode 1
: Turns all X-10 Lamp and Wall Switch modules set to the same house code as the interface. Also turns on all Appliance modules set to the same house
and
unit code as the interface. When the alarm is reset, only the modules set to the same house
and
unit code are turned off.
Mode2
: Flashes all X-10 Lamp and Wall Switch modules or activates PH508 and SH10A sirens set to the same house code as the interface. When reset, all lights and wall switches stay on.
Mode 3
: Turns on all Lamp, Wall Switch and Appliance modules set to the same house code
and
unit code as the interface. When reset, turns same modules off.
TWO different inputs for maximum flexibility
Input A: 6-18VAC/DC or audio.
Input B: Dry contact closure.
Test and All Units Off buttons for manual operation and testing.
NOTE:
MODE 2 WILL ALSO ACTIVATE PH508 AND SH10A SIRENS FOR AS LONG AS CLOSURE OR VOLTAGE IS PRESENT ON THE INPUT TERMINALS. THERE IS A DELAY OF 4 CYCLES (ABOUT 2 SECONDS) BEFORE THE SIREN WILL SOUND.
The PSC01 Powerflash Module is different from most other X10 modules - it sends X10 codes rather than receiving them. It can be triggered by a dry contact closure or a low voltage input (6-18 volts AC, DC, or audio). When connected to the output of a burglar alarm system or alarm panel, it can flood your house with light when the alarm is tripped.
This device can be activated by a magnetic window switch, photo cell, moisture sensor, motion detector, pressure switch or anything that gives a switch closure.

Applications for this versatile interface are limited only by your imagination. It can trip lights directly or activate sophisticated macros in Active Home Pro
