    Hello all. Gmbidding is back with a great blast from the past. Actually, it is from a local high school football field. What we have here is a nice looking and functional vintage Nelson Model 400 rain train traveler sprinkler. I think I have all the words that describe it. Made by the L.R. Nelson Corp in Peoria, ILL. Looks to be serial no. 8245 I have a video link on YouTube where you can view it working.
    I didn’t want to talk and over take the sounds the rain train was making. I had to make adapters to fit my hose and sprinkler. It does not come with sprinkler. But look what it does have. It has the hook at the end of the rope. It also has the original stake to tie rope to. It even has the crank handle to help you reel in 100 yards of rope if you use it on the field again.
