Besides the convenient on/off feature, you can use X10 remote controls or software to progressively dim lights plugged into these modules. It makes a world of difference to your home!
The LM465 Lamp Module responds to "All Lights On" command from any Controller or software set to its housecode. The Lamp Module also has a feature called "local control". This feature enables you, at any time, to turn on the lamp plugged into the Lamp Module simply by turning the lamp's power switch off then on again...thus overriding previous X10 commands.
