Description
High performance after market quick coupler valve key works perfectly in both the Rain Bird #33D double slot quick coupler valve as well as the Hunter HQ3 double slot valve and upturned garden hose valve. This is the newest addition to our quick coupler line and now gives customers the ability to choose the double lug key for their Rain Bird and Hunter 3/4" quick coupler valves at a great price!Double lug refers to the two brass nipples at the bottom of the key where it enters the valve and then tracks down the valve to access the water flow.
These keys are poured and assembled overseas by the same American company that makes all our keys that we have sold to cities, schools, golf courses, homeowners and ranchers for over 20 years without ever having a return do to quality.
The Rain Bird #33 quick coupler valve is the most widely used quick couple valve on the market so this key is a must have if you are a landscaper, grounds maintenance worker
,carpet cleaner, concrete cutter, homeowner or rancher.
The upturned valve and key is a very popular and useful set up for Quick coupler valves that are set in small or deep or both valve boxes it allows the hose to exit easily and unkinked.
Here is some very important information that will help you choose the right key first time.
*The key has 2 lugs so if you open your valve lid and you don't see a double slot this won't work in a single track valve.
*If your valve has a yellow top and has the Rain Bird or Hunter logo on it and has a double track this key is for you.
*If the front of your valve has a 33D or HG3 on it just below the lid on the non hinge side you have found the right key here.
*This key is around 6" long (not a super critical measurement)
*The top of the key has 3/4" male threads and 1/2" female threads.
*The most important measurement is this one!!! The key at the point where it enters the valve is 3/4" of an inch from outside to outside (the widest point)
*This means the hole from inside to inside in the valve you are planning on sticking this into should be slightly larger around 13/16" not including the slot in the valve.
If your measurement is much bigger you will need the larger #44 key which we have in our store.
