This sale is for five (5) cylindrical geocaching containers.
These heavy gauge plastic containers are ideal for geocaching use and measure
10” x 2” and hold about 17 liquid ounces. This is not a MICRO !
The 10" length and 2" diameter is a good, workable size and shape for a geocache....in my opinion. They're easy to hide, hold their shape and provide a fair amount of space for smaller items like pins, small toys, toy badges, etc.
The size is good for toting along in your backpack when you are out on the trail placing caches. The size is also just right…in my opinion…for placing an OK sized log inside
AND
for putting in some good-sized trinkets.
These containers are obviously
BRIGHT
, but if you want to get past that, some dull spray paint (grey, tan, green, black, camo) will do the job (see examples in pictures).
The lids screw on securely
BUT
do not have any kind of seal inside them. You could fabricate a seal if you thought it was necessary.

painted as in the picture above. You will receive 5 original orange containers. Disguise them in your own style.
While I was painting the cylinders I also painted the rectangular container in the back of the pic above;
none of those painted containers are included in this sale.

Today there are over 3 million geocaches in the world; a trend where I live (in
central California) is toward MICROs…not my favorite kind. Maybe that’s why I
rotated to these cylinders. I think they’re a handy size.
