    Description

    Humorous character statue shows 2 boys perilously clambering on a large horse which does not seem to even recognize their presence as it keeps his nose to the ground and raises a front hoof to scratch its neck.The boy on the decorated saddle is on the verge of sliding off as he holds on to the rope as the one on the tail desperately hangs on.I believe this was carved in the 17th Century Early Qing Dy. It measures 7 1/4" in length, is 3 1/2" tall, and 2 1/8" in width.It weighs 1071 gr. The shipping charge will include insurance based on the final selling price.There are auspicious symbolic marks on the mane area and on the saddle. There is a Tao-Tieh face at the neck curvature on top. Most of the original polish is still present on the white nephrite jade surface.
