Circus Midgets Noble George Washington Winner & Wife Cabinet Photo Card lot LHS
By the time the Winners arrived in the Canton area late in 1919 — visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Crow of Marlboro — Winner already had traveled the country with circuses, including the Ringling Bros.
Then, after Winner and his wife, an Ohio native, were married in 1896, they toured together, appearing in stores, at one of them in Canton. The couple also billed themselves as “The Greatest Midgets in the World” while appearing in the J.H. LaPearl’s Great Railroad Show.
