A neat little BCD clock kit, displays time HH:MM:SS in BCD format (binary coded decimal). It's simple design makes it fun to assemble and customize to your taste. Time set, brightness controls and even LED's can be mounted from either side of the board to allow flexibility in your enclosure design. 12 or 24 hour time selection using a jumper wire. The kit comes with 5mm LED's but you could use 3mm LED's, remotely wire the LED's or mix different color LED's of your own.
This clock keeps time from the power line frequency 60hz, if you plan on using the clock with 50hz power line frequency you will need to change the program code. The clocks micro comes pre-programed so once the kit is assembled you can immediately use the clock. Comes with standard 6-pin programming jack for direct hookup to the Atmel ATAVRISP2 in circuit programmer. The Assembly Language code is available on the Jerry's Electronics website, you can modify the code to your liking or just trace the code to help learn Assembly. Assembly Language is the fastest, most precise and efficient programming language.
