    Description

    Up for your consideration is a pair of Chinese antique hand painted phoenix. Both are one foot (12 inches) tall.
    Marks on bottom. An old “ CHINA” mark and a hallmark by manufacturer in Chinese characters.
    In very good condition. No repairs.
    One of them is in perfect condition without any chips or cracks.
    The other one has a shallow surface crack around the upper beak (see pictures 10, 11&12). Please note that this is not a repair. The crack is actually very hard to spot and very shallow. The crack is limited to the glaze surface only, and does not extend to the inside of the mouth/beak. Pictures 10, 11 and 12 show the same surface crack from different angles. There are no other chips or cracks on this piece.
