    To clear all programmed buttons:
    1) Have the adapter plugged in and turned off.
    2) Press the button and hold; the light will come on.
    3) Keep holding until the light turns off. The commands should now be cleared.
    To program a new button:
    1) Plug into an outlet.
    2) Press the button on the adapter once to turn on, a red light will come on.
    3) Press and hold the button. As soon you press the button the light will immediately turn off, don't let that throw you off, keep holding it.
    4) Keep holding until the light turns back on, at that point let the button go.
    5) When you let go, then it starts flashing.
    6) Press the remote button you want to program; you have a few seconds to do this.
