12" Vtg Carnival Clown Knockdown - Stuffed Canvas - Sideshow Target -Folk Art #1

Description

Up for auction is a marvelous old Carnival knock down Clown sometimes referred to as a "Carnival Cat".  It is double sided, hand silkscreened on canvas with fuzzy sheepskin around the edge and a wooden base. These were made from the 1920's to the 1950's for Carnivals and Sideshows.  Excellent condition with only a couple stains, fur in really nice shape
Measures:  12" tall to the edge of the fur by  6" wide at the base.
